Steve Ting

Mr. Tuan Toon Ting, Steve founded BT Frontline Pte Ltd. Mr. Ting has more than 20 years of experience holding several management positions at Hewlett Packard Singapore and Mentor Graphics Corporation Pte Ltd. He started his first company Mentor Graphics Associates Pte Ltd. in 1993 and subsequently Frontline Technologies Pte Ltd. in 1994.

He served as an Executive Chairman of BT Frontline Pte Ltd. He has been a Non-Executive & Independent Director of Accel Frontline Ltd., since March 12, 2004. He serves as a Director of Ecquaria Technologies Pte Ltd. He served as an Executive Director of BT Frontline Pte Ltd. He serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Electronic and Computer Engineering Advisory Committee. Mr. Ting was also Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year (Business Services & Technology) award in 2002.

He holds honorary title of Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the Wisconsin International University, USA. Mr. Ting holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the National University of Singapore (1982), a Postgraduate Degree from the Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom and a graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.

Shirley Wong

Shirley Wong is an entrepreneur and has more than 20 years of experience in the IT & Technology industry. Currently she is the Chairman of SiTF and also the Managing Partner of TNF Ventures Pte Ltd, an incubator under National Research Foundation’s Technology Incubator Scheme. Prior to the current role, she oversees the management and operations of the BT Frontline group in Asia Pacific, driving the professional services business.

Shirley co-founded Frontline Technologies in 1994, and it was listed on the Singapore Exchange in March 2001. Under her stewardship, the company has grown from a team of 8 to 5000 workforce spread across 11 countries in Asia Pacific. Subsequently, the company was acquired by British Telecom Global Services in March 2008.

She has been active in the startup scene, helping startups to secure funding, access to resources, market connections and go to markets. She is incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship and is excited to help build the startup community in Singapore.

Currently, Shirley serves on several industry committees and board, including being the Chairman of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), board member of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Co-chairman of the Cyber Security Awareness Alliance, board member of Singapore Science Center, board member of BT Global Solutions and member of Temasek Polytechnic IT School Advisory Council.
